The process pf developing, promoting and distribution products to satisfy consumer needs and wants.
starts at very beginning of product development and continues to until a consumer purchases the product.

-miss guided, boo hoo etc
-Used more in weekly magazines

Billboards
.On the side of the roads, busses, bus shelters.
.Not a lot of writing (focus on image)
.VERY striking, font ,colour 
.Range of brands use billboards and posters as very wide readership

Television Adverts
.Viewers are targeted at certain times, during certain prrammes; cookery prog, styling prog, reality prog, tv are popular for clothing and makeup.
