Experimenting with sewing

In this picture i have experimented sewing by deconstructing fabrics and images and reconstructing  them together using the sewing machine. For the mesh dress I rouched the top part of the fabric and pulled the end string to make it appear as it was elasticated.





In this picture I wanted to reconstruct in a different way by making an element 3d. I plaited the gold fabric and sewed either side down to create a bridge effect.
